Accompany Iben Nagel Rasmussen on her journey, as she travels through scenes with figures from her 56 years with Odin Teatret and its repertoire.

Iben says, about her performance: 

" Thebes at the time of Yellow Fever, the final performance with Odin Teatret’s historic ensemble, was short lived. 

Among the historical Greek figures, created by the actors, I was the ghost of Oedipus. Blind, he walks through the underworld and reawakens the dead, who continue where they left off in life: with their battles, their love stories, discussions and intrigues. 

                Leaving the performance and my Oedipus-figure after such a short time span felt a bit tame. But what could I do alone? Close to 80 years of age, I could easily and in peace withdraw as an actress.

                 Silence, discontinuation? Something began to shift. An irritating and insisting mumbling and whispering that would not allow me to be at peace. "Hey - you are not alone", the voices said, "we are here too", and figures from my theatre life were suddenly lining up, straining to speak. They tried - successfully it would seem - to convince me to carry on just a bit longer. But there was not space for all of them. Some were already too tired and had been used several times in other performances or contexts. Little by little, a few figures began to distinguish themselves and surprisingly emerged, like corals in my memory."

I Coralli della Memoria will have it's Danish premiere at

OBS: Time of perfomance is changed from 15:00 to 17:00.

The premiere will take place as part of the celebration of Teatret OM's 35-year anniversary!

In September I Coralli della Memoria will leave on a special 'Double-bill'-tour alongside Like a Lily, touring in Italy. 

'Double-bill' means that both perfomances will play in extension of each other, with a brief intermezzo inbetween.
