Leo Sykes er en britisk teater- og filmforfatter og instruktør, hvis prisbelønnede forestillinger har turneret rundt i hele verden. Hun har været gæsteinstruktør på Teatret OM i Danmark siden 1994. Hun er også direktør for det brasilianske Circo Teatro Udi Grudi, et kompagni af musikalske klovne. Med dem udviklede hun en arbejdsform baseret på det absurde, komiske og poetiske og laver musikalske klovneforestillinger for et publikum, der omfatter flere generationer. Leo har også instrueret luftshows, stedspecifikke forestillinger, store teaterproduktioner og gadeteater. Hun skriver også manuskripter, instruerer kortfilm og har lavet dokumentarfilm.

Leo Sykes is a British theatre/film writer and director whose award-winning performances have toured the world. She has been a visiting director at Teatret OM in Denmark since 1994.  She is also the director of Brazil’s Circo Teatro Udi Grudi, a company of musical clowns. With them she developed a style of work based on the absurd, the comic, and the poetic, making musical clown shows for multi-generational audiences. Leo has also directed aerial shows, site-specific performances, large-scale theatre productions, and street theatre. She also writes scripts, directs short films, and has made documentaries.
