Siden 2020 har vi arbejdet med Giganternes Indtog, en helt særlig form for publikumsudvikling og ’community art’, der leder frem til Åbningsparaden på UR-NAT 2022: 4 levende Giganter blev i løbet af efterår 2021 og forår 2022 skabt rundt i lokalsamfund i Ringkøbing-Skjern Kommune. Giganterne er kæmpedukker, 3-4 meter høje fantasi-insekter, der bæres på skuldrene af deres dukkeførere. Processen involverer forskellige typer af lokale workshops for at ideudvikle, designe, bygge og navngive de lokale Giganter.

Fleur Marie Fuentes fra Les Grandes Personnes Paris leder processen i samarbejde med Teatret OMs kunstnere og lokale børn og voksne.

Op til Åbningen af UR-NAT 2022 iscenesættes en parade med mange hundrede medvirkende børn og voksne omkring deres Giganter. Flere masker, kostumer, objekter, musikstykker og koreografier kommer til. Danske og Internationale kunstnere på festivalen involveres. Temaet for paraden er naturens mangfoldighed, de små væseners gigantiske betydning.

FESTIVAL OPENING THE GIANTS' ENTRANCE
Since 2020, we have been working with the Entry of the Giants, a very special form of audience development and community art leading up to the Opening Parade of UR-NAT 2022: Four living Giants will be created in the autumn of 2021 and spring of 2022 around local communities in Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality. The Giants are giant puppets, 3-4 meter tall fantasy insects carried on the shoulders of their puppet masters. The process involves different types of local workshops to ideate, design, build and name the local Giants.
Fleur Marie Fuentes of Les Grandes Personnes Paris is leading the process in collaboration with the artists of the OM Theatre and local children and adults.
A parade involving hundreds of children and adults will be staged around their Giants in the run-up to the opening of UR-NAT 2022. More masks, costumes, objects, music pieces and choreographies will be added. Danish and International artists of the festival are involved. The theme of the parade is the diversity of nature, the gigantic importance of small creatures.
The parade is staged by the artistic director of Teatret OM, Sandra Pasini, in collaboration with Tippe Molsted and Miguel Utreras.
