The bonfire with Danseteatret NordenFra is a beautiful evening performance about people and fire. The fire that has always been life-giving - and destructive. Dance and music in a sensuous whole with fire and darkness as co-players. NordenFra's performances merge folk culture with modern performing arts and world music.

The performance begins with a horse ritual half an hour before.

The ritual is a small poetic performance, "where the horses talk", we want to remember Gitte Kielberg, actress and friend of the theatre. She was supposed to be at the festival, but she died last December. Watching Gitte work with her horses was a poetic experience. The respect between man and animal was so amazing. We have therefore asked Icelandic Horse Club Skári and there horses to join us in this tribute to Gitte. Afterwards, the performance Bålet begins with Danseteatret Nordenfra, of which Gitte was a part for many years.
